Masha Ziablikova’s October Day Pullover has completely captured our attention. With its softly undulating leaf-lace pattern, beautiful movement and relaxed silhouette, it’s an irresistible project for the transition into cooler fall days.
For our L’Atelier Sunday Night Delight version, we chose Sesia Silk/Mohair, held double throughout. The combination creates a beautifully light fabric with softness, dimension and luxurious drape while allowing the lace pattern to remain the star of the design.
October Days is worked in the round from the bottom up on US 8 needles. The rhythmic leaf-lace motif creates gentle waves across the fabric, giving the finished sweater its distinctive movement and texture.
The design is intended to be worn with approximately 2–4 inches of positive ease for a comfortable, relaxed fit.
