Knitting is all about adventure, and this month captures that desire to explore the possibilities of trying something new. Inspired by the Italian Designer, Cucinelli, Karen embarked on a quest for something magical with regards to color. The piece is worked with 2 colors of Sesia Flora Paillettes and 1 strand of Sesia Wow, all sequined yarns and cotton blended with sequins. The result is unexpected and exquisitely L'Atelier. The sparkle of the sequins is subtle but comes to life whenever a little movement is made. The stitch pattern is easy, 4 rows, 2 of which you just purl back. Knit on size 7 needles with appx 4 to 6 inches of ease, this piece can become a wardrobe staple. Wear it dressy or wear it messy, it works.
