Straight Up takes the classic striped pullover and turns it 90 degrees. Worked from sleeve cuff to sleeve cuff, this clever Lana Grossa design transforms its stripes into flattering vertical lines while Seed Stitch gives the fabric a wonderful woven appearance and softly textured hand.
At the heart of the project is Lana Grossa Corallo, a beautiful blend of 70% organic cotton and 30% Merino wool. It’s an ideal transitional fiber, comfortable enough for the lingering warmth of summer with just enough wool to welcome the cooler days ahead.
The original design’s touch of Filo Lurex brings a subtle hint of shimmer, while L’Atelier has replaced the original mohair with Sesia Vivienne, our glorious silk-mohair favorite, for an elevated finish that feels unmistakably L’Atelier.
