The pattern uses a clever cable technique where wrapped stitches gently unfurl to create the signature lattice effect. The result is a dramatic stitch pattern that is surprisingly approachable—even for knitters new to cables. We selected L’Atelier Sonata, our exquisite 100% woven silk tape yarn, to bring this design to life. The yarn produces a breathable, fluid fabric that feels luxurious on the skin and makes the sweater wearable throughout the year. Knit on size 10 needles and constructed in two simple pieces with built-in sleeves, the project progresses quickly while delivering a polished, high-fashion result.
