For nearly fifty years, L'Atelier has been part of my life—and, in so
many ways, part of yours.
When I think about all these years, I don't remember every yarn, every
pattern, or every project individually. I remember them because of the people
connected to them.
I remember the excitement of discovering a beautiful new fiber. The
perfect color. A special yarn that made you stop and imagine what it could
become. I remember the patterns we created, the projects we shared, and shared
joy of creating in incredible fibers and colors.
And I remember you.
The conversations. The friendships. The projects that took years to
finish. The people who walked through our doors as clients and became part of
the L'Atelier family.
That has always been the magic of L'Atelier.
The special things we discover and share with you—at L'Atelier, at a
trade show, or over the phone. Wherever it is, we promise innovation,

Over the years, the products have brought us into relationships with you.

Fifty years has brought many evolutions. We moved locations, opened new
shops, created catalogs, built a national community, embraced the internet,
survived a recession, earthquakes, cars driving through our front door, and
COVID. Through it all, we have continued to evolve while staying connected to
the people who make L'Atelier what it is, you.
And here we go again!
I believe it is time for L'Atelier to become what I have always wanted it
to be—a true Atelier. A place centered around exceptional materials, beautiful
things, original ideas, and the people who bring them to life.
This next chapter is not about leaving behind what we have built.
It is about bringing the very best of L'Atelier forward.
